About me

My name is Jorge Manrubia Díez. I am a spanish software engineer who is currently working and living at Madrid. I created this site because I wanted to have a place to write about software development. I have interests in many areas, specially those concerned to agile development, good development practices and MDE.

I am currently working for the Spanish Social Security Office. I am member of the HCI-RG Group (University of Oviedo), where I am doing a PhD on Software Engineering. My research subject is related to Model Driven Development. From time to time I like to participate in conferences and courses to teach on different subjects such as Agile Development, Ruby on Rails or Web Accessibility.
